His smile dropped. "Why?" he asked. "I thought you said the only reason you left was because of the virus..."

"That wasn't the only reason." Crimson responded, her eyes drifting over at Koralie before going to the ground.

Her. Crimson mouthed and pointed.

Saben looked at her curiously. "Why her? Do you hate her that much?" he asked her in a hushed tone.

"She's not a fighter. She's just dead weight. But I can see why you are defending her." Crimson whispered.

Saben looked up with a nervous glance. "We should probably go to a place safer than this..." he said, motioning to the broken door and the faint groans in the distance.

Koralie screamed.

Crimson looked back at him. "Dead weight." she responded.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." he said, grasping his crowbar and pushing the door open. "Koralie?" he called out nervously.

Koralie was on the ground. A zombie was eating her throat.

Crimson turned away. "KILL IT!" she screamed.

Saben slammed it with his crowbar, spraying blood all over him as he hacked it to death. He pushed it off of Koralie and kneeled down.

Koralie gasped and her heart stopped. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head. She became a zombie.

Crimson slammed her back into her skull over and over again. "DEAD WEIGHT!" she said as she did it.
