Chapter 10

Crimson rode her bike to the apartment complex she had shared with Saben. She sighed and went to the same room. The zombies were gone, but some of the bodies remained.

Saben pried an abandoned car door open with his crowbar. He sat in the driver's seat, gripping the steering wheel. "So I just steer, push the pedals, and don't die. That's simple..." he said to himself.

Koralie laid a hand on his thigh. "Yup.~"

Meanwhile...

Crimson stared around the room where blood found itself stained everywhere. She looked to where Saben had once been sleeping. A puddle of dirty blood occupied it now.

Saben looked uncomfortably at her hand before starting the car with the bloody key he stole off the zombie. The engine revved to life.

Crimson walked over to the flipped over the couch and sat on it. She sighed as she laid down.

Koralie moved her hand moved up.

Saben's eye twitched, putting the car in drive. "Um... I don't think this is an appropriate time."

"For what?" Koralie asked. Her hand got closer.

Crimson fell asleep.

"Never mind..." he said. He got on to the road, following the way they came. That's when he remembered that they drove through the forest. Shit...

Koralie looked at him. "Are you sure you know where you are?" her hand was already in his pants.

"Yeah... Kind of." he replied uncomfortably, the car cruised down the street.

Koralie nodded. "Alright..." She rubbed it.

Saben's eye twitched. The speed of the car increased.

Koralie smiled. "So we are going to Ohio? But we'll have to stop for the night right?"

"Yeah. I know a place where it will be safe..." he said. For the most part. he silently added.

"YAY!" Koralie said. She squeezed.

Saben blushed. The car sped up more, running over zombies. They would lose body parts, spraying their organs and blood all over the windsheild. Saben reached and turned on the windsheild wiper.

Koralie saw him blush and rubbed it more.

Saben saw the trees in the distance. A faint skid mark lined the road.

Koralie sighed and rested her head on is shoulder. "I'm tired."

"I wonder why..." he muttered. He drove around, trying to find the complex.

Koralie squeezed it tighter. "What was that?"

Saben blushed. Once again the car sped up to break neck speed. He was silent.

Koralie smiled wickedly.

Crimson jolted awake. She heard a car. More people? she wondered.

Saben sighted the complex. He pulled in to the parking lot and looked up to the top. One of the windows were broken open.

Crimson looked out the broken window to see the car. It was too dark to see the people.
