Chapter 12

"DAMIEN!" Crimson called. She ran out of the room and toward the door and raced up the stair where the banging had started.

Saben followed her up. Damien shot one small pink form in the head. He pulled the nail out of its head and stabbed one in mid air as it leaped up. He kicked one to the ground and stomped it out. Pink zombies were flooding into the refuge, they were around three feet tall standing up. They hunched over and ran on all fours and fast speeds. One leaped up and latched on to Saben's face. "HOLY SHIT! WHAT THE FUCK; IT'S TRYING TO FUCK MY FACE WITH ITS UNDEAD COCK!" he screamed, ripping it off of him and throwing it to the ground.

Crimson could help but burst out laughing. She slammed into pink zombie bodies her bat.

"Not funny." Saben said, slamming one of the zombies with his crowbar. He kicked the door closed, the tiny shrunken head of one rolling away. Damien smiled too, shooting the tiny zombies.

"Wanna bet?" Crimson laughed. Until one latched onto her leg. "THEY ARE LIKE FUCKING DOGS! LITERALLY!" She smashed its head down.

Saben laughed, until one latched on to a sensitive spot. "NO MEANS NO, YOU TINY WHORES!" he slammed down on the zombie. "That didn't feel good..." he said hoarsely, slashing at more.

"I bet Koralie did..." Crimson mumbled under her breath as she beat more small zombies. She slammed into the door, closing it, along with many digits and limbs.

Damien shot one, the zombie crowd diminishing.

Saben's eye twitched at Crimson's comment, but he said nothing.

Crimson smashed more zombies into the ground, brains everywhere.

Saben hacked one, and the zombies were about finished. He felt tired.

Once the zombies were done Crimson collapsed against the wall from exhaustion.

Saben sat. He never even got to tell Crimson.

Damien sat angrily. "Someone didn't close the door properly." he said.

"It was... probably... my fault..." Crimson yawned. She attempted to stand and fell forward.

Saben fell forward with her, trying to catch her. He failed. Damien crouched down, moving her on to her back and picking her up.

Crimson gave him a grateful smile. "I guess I over did myself today."

"Come on. Let's get you to your room." Damien said, carrying her away. Saben sat up and dusted himself off, sighing.

Crimson held on to him, to ensure her own safety.

Saben slowly followed, turning away towards his own room.

Damien opened her door, laying her gently on to her bed. "There." he said with a sweet smile.

Crimson untangled her arms around him. She smiled back. "Thanks."

Damien smiled. "It was no problem."

Crimson giggled. "If you say so..."

Damien smiled. Saben walked in but stopped, hearing her giggle and 'If you say so.'. He quickly walked out, opening the door to his own room.

Crimson attempted to pulled herself up into a sitting position. Her arms locked around his neck and she pulled up but ended up pulling him down. She laughed.

Damien laughed with her, their eyes meeting.

Saben sat, listening to them laugh through the wall of his room. Why was Crimson so distant from him all of a sudden?

Crimson stopped laughing and smiled. Their faces were inches from each other.
