Chapter 11

Crimson smiled back. "Fine. But you two have to get along!"

"Fine..." they both mumbled.

"Damien can you leave us alone for a while. I must talk to Saben." Crimson gave him a sweet smile.

Damien smiled. "Alright." he said, walking back to the refuge.

Saben looked at her. "What is it?"

Crimson looked at him. "What were you going to say?"

Saben shuffled his feet. "Well..."

"What?" Crimson pressed.

"It was nothing." he said after awhile. "I was going to say the same thing as Damien..."

Crimson frowned. "Aright... well... Let's go eat. I want to explore the city when we wake up." she walked down the stairs into the refuge.

"That sounds fun..." Saben commented, following her down with a small sigh.

Crimson turned around and stopped him. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, why do you ask that?" Saben asked.

"You don't seem okay." Crimson said.

"Well, I'm fine." Saben reassured her with a small smile.

"Alright." Crimson said. She walked into the kitchen. "Damien?" she asked.

Damien walked out. "Yes?" he said. He looked rather nervous.

"Are you alright?" Crimson asked. The question was getting rather redundant.

"Yes. I am. Nothing wrong at all~" Damien said.

"Alright then." Crimson said. She grabbed a bowl and filled it.

One hour later...

Damien stumbled and picked a random room to sleep in. He gritted his teeth, hoping that Saben would get eaten in the night so he didn't have to deal with him.

Saben sat by the door to the refuge, still not tired. He twirled the crowbar in his hands.

Crimson tapped him on the shoulder. "What are you doing?"

Saben looked up. "Nothing really." he replied.

Crimson sat beside him. "You really should be in bed."

"I can't sleep." Saben responded.

"It won't help if you sit by the door waiting for them to just break in." Crimson said.
